A little too grand
perhaps as a way of describing a style of operation which
attempts to keep pace with trends in the food and drinks markets
but without losing sight of its very traditional role and
greatest strength namely to provide a clean, calm, safe and
congenial place to meet and talk. A few examples of our
approach would be:
1. Beer Academy Courses - Focussing on brewing, beer and its
role in the current marketplace.. Emphasis on beer & food
matching.
2. Centre of excellence for training & education - Regular wine,
spirit & beer sessions / courses/ tastings held in our upstairs
function room.
Bringing the
coach house into the trading area of the pub as a dining area thereby showing people a little of our history as
coaching inn and the architectural simplicity and beauty of the
beamed roof and flagstone floor.
